Our monthly meetings will be very much like the meetings we have had in previous years. They will include all of these great things:
- Set up the room and socialize from 6:30-7:00pm
- Welcome from the chair/ latest updates
- Business Meeting (reports from executive members)
- Sew-Show 'n' Tell
- Snacks and time to socialize (bring your own beverage and cup, drinks will no longer be provided)
- Presenters and planned activities (eg: mystery quilt, UFO Challenge)
- Prizes (doorprizes, and name tag draw- don't forget to wear your name tag)
- Meeting will adjourn at 9:00 pm

Look for our group quilt to be on display at our meetings. This quilt was started last year to commemorate our 15 year anniversary of the Crescent Quilters' group. We can still add on to our group quilt. Click on the photo of it to see directions.
Were you at the year end party in June? Did you get a brown paper bag with sewing odd and ends? Have you done anything with it yet? Have you thought about Ros's challenge to "think outside the box?
If you have started a project this summer as a result of trying to think outside the box, we would love to see it at our Sew-Show 'n' Tell in September. We would love to see it, and hear about how you came up with the idea. The project does not have to be finished. Ros also suggested starting a quilting journal, and making a cover for it. If you have done this, please bring it along to show us as well.
