Community Quilts

Community Quilts

Crescent Quilters community project is to create quilts for the three Residential Care sites served by Peace Arch Hospital.Crescent quilters have proudly stitched several hundred of these over the history of the group.  Our goal is for each member to produce at least one community quilt for PAH each year. The quilts should be about 36” to 38” square. Please use prewashed and dried cotton fabrics: pieced cotton tops, low loft batting, and flannel, or cotton on the back. The Community Quilts Coordinator has labels and batting available. Please contact her when needed. Design and style are not limited. Cheerful quilts are welcomed. Quilts will be delivered to PAH by the Coordinator when there are a few on hand, so this is an ongoing project with no deadlines! If you have quilts that are larger, contact the Coordinator. She can likely also get those to a good home.
We also make adult shirt protectors for Brella Community Services Society. They are used by the seniors attending the day program. Our goal is for each member to stitch up at least one shirt protector donation for Brella each year.
