She also has batting available for community quilts upon request. Let her know the size of batting you need. She can make it the size you need if your quilt is a bit different than the usual size. Susan will go purchase a roll of 80/20 batting for community quilts as we are getting low.
Brookswood will be having a 60th anniversary party. Lynne M. has sent out a request for a donation quilt to be raffled off. Jean volunteered to donate a quilt. Volunteers needed for the party. Let Monika know if you are available to help. Saturday June 22nd is the day of the party. More details to follow about the times.

Sew, Show ’n’ Tell
Many people brought finished or almost finished community quilts that they made using the myster quilt directions this year. Everyone came up at once to show their quilts. Carole N. Showed a photo of a quilt she completed and sent to England. She also showed a quilt top for a community quilt. It had a pale green background. She also showed a completed community quilt, colorful, with wool batting that Faith gave her.
Linda C-B. showed a couple of wall art hangings that she made. One called “Sea breeze”. She makes wall hangings to sell. She pointed out that she makes them quite narrow because most people do not have large spaces on their walls for large wall hangings. She also showed a black and white mosaic of her daughter and grandson. It is made of ½” squares, wonder under and tulle. Another was a portrait of her grandson. She will have three pieces in the Semiamhoo art gallery show in April. The show is the 50th. Anniversary of Semiahmoo Art Society at the Landmark pop up gallery off of 16th and between Foster and 152nd Street. It runs for the month of April on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. from 10am to 2pm. She will be hosting April 5 from 10 to 2, and April 6 from 2 to 6
Carol P.-- Showed a red and white community quilt. Made of ½ square triangles. She has the pattern if anyone wants it.
Sheilagh C. --Showed a community quilt with stars and pinwheels, bright colors. Also, a cat quilt with purple. A larger one with random fun fabrics. She is donating this quilt to the community as well. She also showed two shirt savers.
