Hello:As you know Quilt Canada 2018 is being held in Vancouver from May 31-June 2, 2018 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.The CQA/ACC has received so many requests from Lower Mainland member guilds to enter a concurrent show in QC2018 that we do not have room for all of them.The Board has decided that the fairest way to address these requests would be to hold a lottery.If your guild is still interested in having a concurrent show of approximately 50-80 linear feet at QC2018 please let me know by November 30, 2017 at:Your guild would be responsible for delivering the show on set-up day (May 30th), hanging it along with the associated signage and labels that you would have prepared and taking down the show on Saturday June 2, 2018 at the close of the show (4:00 p.m.). There is no cost to your guild for the space or pipe and drape.Once the draw takes place those who have expressed interest will be notified one way or another.Undoubtedly some of you will be disappointed but space is limited and we are trying to be fair and transparent to all those requesting space.Bonnie RankinPresidentCQ
