A message from Lynn, our Brookswood Coordinator.

We had a Brookswood upper hall meeting on Oct 25 and the following were things that we discussed.

Brookswood Upper Hall
Brookswood is having a fundraiser through Purdys Chocolates.  The cost is the same price as the store but 25% of the price will go back to Brookswood for their Food Program.  If you want any information please contract me and I will forward the number to use for the purchase.
There is an ongoing discussion regarding a price increase for the Upper Hall at the start of next year. This will not affect our current cost of $5.00 per day.  Apparently irons use an excessive amount of energy and it is recommended to turn them off when not in use.
A discussion was held regarding waste removal.  At the moment we are in the process of introducing a policy of each group removing their own waste including bathroom waste.  Please wrap all personal hygiene products and place them in the regular garbage bag.
If you open a window please close it at the end of the day so we can set the alarm.
There will be a spray bottle with water and a small amount of Dawn in the kitchen cupboard for using to wash off the tables before you leave.  Apparently, the residual from 505 stays on the table so they must be cleaned for the next group.
Dates for 2020 have been set.
Any questions please contact me.
