How to figure out if you have a high shank or low shank machine



At the last Crescent Quilters' meeting,  we had a discussion about perhaps having a workshop at Brookswood to learn how to quilt using rulers. Some people do not have a ruler foot, or know what a ruler foot looks like.

There are two types, "high shank" and "low shank". It is important to know if you have a high shank or a low shank machine before you go shopping for a ruler foot.
