Hi there!

I am so excited that you will be joining me for a “Ruler Day”. It will be a fun filled four hours, with a little demo and a whole lot of time to play with rulers.

I have uploaded a YouTube video which goes over what you should know ahead of time and what you should bring with you. Here is the link: What to bring to Ruler Day

(I have also included below, a list of items you should bring with you.)

It would be beneficial if you have at least a little free motion quilting experience, but if you do not, don’t worry, you will still have fun, and we can get you on your way with rulers.

Should you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at sillymoonquiltingco@gmail.com or by phone at 604-302-8580

Ruler Days supplies list:

- Sewing machine with ruler foot (contact me if you have questions about this) and an extension table
- Gloves with grip – either quilting gloves, garden gloves with rubber on them, cotton gloves with grips on the fingers
- Pen or pencil for marking (can be a regular pen or pencil as these are for practice only)
-6+ quilt sandwiches 12 x 12 “ – solid fabric is best, these do not need to be pieced, just plain fabric. If you have stray blocks that you would like to quilt instead, bring those
- Ruler to mark lines on quilt sandwiches
-All the usual notions – thread(contrasting thread works best, so you can see your stitches), scissors, bobbins etc
- A notebook to make some sketches and notes of what you have learned
- A snack and beverage in case you work up an appetite J

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you soon!
