Hints from the ruler workshop

How much pressure should your ruler foot have on your quilt? This is a question I had when going to the workshop. Most ruler feet are adjustable. I am pointing to the screw on my ruler foot that adjusts the height of the ruler foot. The answer to my question was that you should be able to easily slide a business card between your quilt and your ruler foot.

Other tips include:
It is easier to quilt with rulers if you have a supreme slider or similar product on your machine.
It is easier to quilt with rulers if you wear gloves.
