Residential Quilt Challenge 2020-21

 CRESCENT QUILTERS

RESIDENTIAL QUILT

CHALLENGE 2020-21

Crescent Quilters community project is to make quilts for the three sites serviced by Peace Arch Hospital.

The quilts should be about 36” square, any pattern or design and either cotton or flannel on the back. Labels and batting are available through Donna and sometimes backing. Last year we did a nine patch “challenge” which was warmly received and generated a lot of quilts so this year I have come up with rectangles.

These patterns are just suggestions and non-rectangles quilts are also welcome. Refer to the labelled photos

A rail fence, 36 blocks, each a rectangle is cut 2-½” x 6-½” use whatever method you like and play around with the setting.

Pick a quilt, do the cutting, refer to the photo and you will be fine! Phone or email with any questions
