Let's get together for a couple of sewing days. Annette S. has reserved the clubhouse at her complex on March 7th and April 11th.
March 7th will be a day to sew shirt protectors for Brella. This will be collaborative and fun. We did this and produced a big pile of them in one day. There will be no charge to attend. There will be a sign up sheet at the next Crescent Quilters' meeting. If you cannot attend the next meeting but would like to attend, please let Gloria know by email. April 11th will be a workshop put on by Gloria. It is called "Scrap Happy" We are going to talk about using scraps, see some demos, and have a chance to do some sewing. We will talk about sorting and grouping fabric together, and get some great ideas for making scrappy quilts. Each participant should bring a bunch of scraps and their sewing machine. There will be a sign up sheet at the next Crescent Quilters meeting. This workshop will be $15 to attend. Gloria will be collecting money at the February and March Crescent Quilters' meetings. There is room for 10-12 people to attend. The address, times and further details will be giving at the next meeting.
