Hello Crescent Quilters. Can you believe our meeting is on Monday? Where did the time go?
Joan Baldwin and Liz Aubert are signed up to bring treats and Linda Brock is signed up to bring a beverage. We usually have three people signed up for food and two for beverages, so please make sure to sign up!
Big heads up - our meeting theme is GARAGE SALE!! Please make this a fun event for all and bring garage sale items to sell and bring lots of money to buy!!! The more stuff the better, so get digging.

We had 26 members in attendance at the September meeting and no guests.
Treasurer: $4563.31 and $95.65 in petty cash
Community Quilts: Diane introduced new mystery quilt.
Retreat - next retreat is at Beecher Place Nov 15 & 16
Iris was away so further discussion on the retreat rules are expected to continue at October meeting. Carolyn brought up an issue about filling retreat spots. It was agreed that members are responsible for finding people to take their place if they are unable to attend, but the wait list should be filled first, so this may need to be coordinated.
Hospitality: Bring your own mug
Sunshine: Marilyn received a card for a broken arm (shoulder) and Barb Baker received a card for a broken wrist.
Sharzees: tickets are $2 for 3 tickets - oops, I forgot to write down who won the money from the sharzees draw. I will try to be more on the ball!!

Carolyn and Faith presented the "Quilters Contract" and WOW - what wonderful participation by our group!! We received 28 contracts, and there were 79 commitments made. Well done!
We will have the contracts available at each meeting, if anybody wants to add to their contract, it will be up to them to edit their contract.
Don't forget, at the end of the year we will have a big show and tell of all of the completed projects (or at least show a picture) and for each completed quilt there will be an entry for the final prize.
