If numbers warrant, there may be a sign-up sheet to organize "first come, first reserved" system.
Currently signing up is only required for weekends.
Bring your own lunch. Bring your own sewing machine, and project to work on. Irons will be available to use. You may want to also bring an extension cord. and a cushion to put on your chair.
People who are staying until 7pm on weekend retreats often order dinner in.
Brookswood Workshops:
Workshops usually start at 9am. Length of workshops vary, but usually finish mid to late afternoon.
Three day retreats will often include an instructional one day or more workshop, facilitated by a contracted presenter. Registration numbers for these classes may be restricted at the request of the instructor. Workshop participants will pay a class fee which will cover the cost of the instructor. (The fee may be subsidized by Crescent Quilters') Deposits for workshops are non-refundable. If someone has paid the deposit and cannot attend, they are responsible to find their own replacement. Deposits for one-day events are 100% of the fees owed. Deposits for longer events will require a minimum 50% deposit in advance. Lynne M. will collect deposits.There will also be a $2 per day Brookswood fee on workshop days (instead of the $5 fee on retreat days).
