Applique Workshop

In addition to the other Brookswood dates listed on the calendar, we are trying to set up an applique class with Faith teaching, for Saturday Oct 7th.  The class would cost each participant $15. plus $2 for Brookswood fee for the day, and any supplies required for the project.  We need 15 participants to make the day work.  This is the Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend.

Here is a picture of the little project we will be doing for the applique workshop.

 The method we will be learning is the freezer paper and starch method. In this method we will be pre-turning the applique pieces using the off the block method. Closer to the workshop a supply list will be provided, but students should know that they will require a clover mini iron.

Note: If we are unable to to get 15 people, we may adjust the price in order to make this go ahead. We will discuss this more at our September meeting.
