Our February Meeting

Our Next meeting will be held Monday, February 19th.

What to expect at our meeting:

-Sew, Show 'n' tell
-Snacks - Bring your own beverage.
-Door Prizes, 50/50 draw
-Please wear your name tag. There will be a name tag draw

Main feature of the evening:

Gloria will be chatting about batting. There are so many things to consider when selecting batting for your project. Come hear all about different types of batting, and things you should think about when you are making your selection. Also learn how to join batting.

Learn how to make a handy and stylish, reversable bowl cozy. They are so great! You will want to make one (maybe several) for yourself, and maybe some for gifts as well. They can be used in the microwave if made out of 100% cotton materials. Because of the petal shapes, you will be able to take the bowl out of the microwave with ease. They are great if you like to hold a bowl of hot food while you eat in front of the TV. If you have a wood table, they protect the table from heat damage from your hot bowl.  They are also good for cold foods like ice cream. You will not get a cold hand from holding the bowl.
