Bring your completed community quilts for this year to the year end party.
Did you know we have a goal of turning in at least 40 community quilts to the extended care ward at Peace Arch each year ?Next year on top of this goal, we will have a new goal. Come Share would like to have 30 lap size quilts. Can we do it?
The answer is YES if we spread the work out evenly amoungst us. The goal is reachable.
The shirt protectors are also an ongoing project. Next year, lets try to get 40 shirt protectors made as well!
If fidget quilts are your thing, Come Share will gladly except more!
The lap blankets do not have to be the Mystery Quilt pattern. They can be any design you wish. Remember, they do not have to be complex in design or have fancy quilting. A finished quilt is a usable quilt and will be appreciated by whoever recieves it! It feels good participating in these projects and giving to the community in this way!
If you get some spare time over the summer, think about working on a quilt that you can donate to Come Share.
In the fall we will start on our next Mystery Quilt.
