Our next meeting will be on September 16th

 Enter from the rear, which is the South side of the building.

Time: 7 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Try to arrive early to help set up the room and socialize with other members.

When you arrive, please sign the attendance record. Help set up the room if you are able.

Come hear what we have planned for the upcoming year. (Program plans, and reports from the executive members, welcome new members)

The group mixer: To start off the evening we will get into small groups. The topic will be --Tell the people in your group about a project you are currently working on.

Let's have a fantastic Show 'n' Tell this month! In addition to the usual Sew, Show 'n' Tell, bring your FAVORITE quilt or quilted item along to show. Tell us why it is your favorite.  

People that are bringing snacks in September: Marcia and Iris.
There will be a new sign up sheet for the upcoming year. Please sign up to bring snacks.
Bring your own beverage please.

Don't forget to wear your name tag. (There will be a name tag draw)
There will be door prizes and a Sharzee draw as well.

At the end of the meeting, please help clean up by putting your chair away if you are able. Also please help putting the tables away if you can.

Other News:
-Be sure to click on the link for community quilts for updates.
-Pay special attention to any emails you get regarding Brookswood in September. Due to the installation of a new kitchen sink, our dates in September might get cancelled. The emails will come from Gloria, because Lynne is away right now.
-If you were one of the people who took the free motion quilting class last year, there will be a chance for you to get further help with your free motion quilting. Lynne Fanthrope will coming back to Brookswood on Oct 9th. She will give free help to those people who previously took her class. Bring your sewing machine.
Fall retreat at Brookswood - Three days. November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Look forward to this fun fall event!
