The joy of teaching a grandchild to sew - Submitted by Bonnie

 I had the opportunity to work with my youngest granddaughter Johanna a couple of weekends ago in my sewing room. 

She begged me to help her make a blanket so she learned how to sew on a machine for the first time.  She was a quick learner and it is a precious memory for us both.
Johanna is 6.
I was encouraged by Carolyn Smith, Donna Mercer and Carol Peel over time on how to attempt this with Johanna.
