February 10th, 2020 Meeting

Gloria opened the meeting, welcoming everyone.

We had 29 members in attendance tonight.

We discussed the Ruler Day workshop with Kelly from  Silly Moon. The Thursday workshop did not have enough people signed up, so the only date we will have the workshop is Saturday February 29th. There is still more spots available for the Saturday class. Please sign up for  Saturday if you would like to attend.

The cost is $25.00 for the day workshop.  If you purchase a ruler that day then you will receive $10.00 off, making the cost of the class $15.00.

Bring your lunch, The fee for Brooks wood will be covered by CQ.

Bylaws updated by Gloria the change or correction is 1 guest per year. That guest can only attend once.

Bank Balance $2,947.47

Petty cash $183.90

Name tag draw will be postponed to next month and we will do two draws.

Guest speaker tonight is Barb Cheriwchan from Coach House Designs and her friend Marcie. Barb has an app to see how your fabric choices will look when they are used in her patterns.

She gave each member a handout which consisted of a ziplock bag with several papers. In the handout there is a card for a pattern called Bleu. The value of the pattern is $10, but it can be obtained for free if you scratch off the code at the bottom of the card and enter it on her site fabswitch.com/redeemcode

 It is on the back of the Bleu card pictured above on the right.

Barb and Marcie put on a great trunk show and had patterns for sale after the meeting.
